Well that's the reason why it's an easy target, it's small and barely relevant so lacks the power to really defend itself from a coordinated attack.

All in all they'll be wasting time and resources fighting Kiwi farms. Long term this is going to end up being irrelevant anyway as kiwifarms was doing what the internet always does, document shit that people put out in public. Them being gone won't change that a lot of this cringe and borderline criminal behavior is being posted online for all to see. Most simply do not.

The age old struggle goes like this, someone posts shit online, other people find that shit and laugh at it or criticize it, the first person claims harassment yet continues to put out stuff online. There is some real harassment that happens, but it's impossible to really stop that or tell who is doing it. The best strategy with this sort of thing is to collect information silently, without alerting the person in question, then once you've collected a significant amount and made backups, you then release it all at once as well as make calls to the proper authorities to take action. The Vanderbilt strategy if you will. Matt Walsh may be many things but in this case, his strategy is effective.

I remember in a completely unrelated case some guy in a group I was in was complaining constantly about harassment, apparently people were signing him up from free news letters and porn mags or whatever and whatnot, basically sending his address to every religious cult or marketing team with a "give us your address and we will send a pamphlet" stuff. Now in the first case, this guy was stupid enough to have his address publicly available for all to see online. Problem #1. But an understandable mistake from the internet disinclined. The real problem is that once this started happening, this dumbass made a lot of internet posts complaining about it, which let the trolls know that their harassment was working, and also caused the problem to become worse. I pointed this out and got a ban because apparently telling people how to stop from getting harassed constituted harassment. Oh well. Guess you can change your address, post your new address online again, and then act surprise when the problem didn't stop. "How did they know my new address?". Whaaat?

Kiwifarms like all the dredges of the internet will dredge up the trolls that cross the line beyond simply exercising free speech into harassment. But to call for their closure is like demanding the forest close down because people might do drugs in it.
