A bunch of subreddits have done this to counter the "July 1st" meme, when typically all the rainbow logos get turfed. So, now it's pRIdE all year round because virtue signalling for only one whole month isn't enough anymore.

Fucking clowns.

I said at the time, it's become the left's equivalent of businesses that tout themselves as Christian not being the first to take down their Christmas decorations.

Yep it's exactly the same shit.

Why bother arguing with them just leave. Once people care more about posturing some unrelated thing rather than whatever the underlying thing is actually about there's no point in sticking around.

What does OPENSUSE have to do with pride month? Nothing.

It's to show that gay people are welcome to use openSUSE of course. Who isn't welcome to use it? Who would even think that gay people aren't welcome to use it? Even hardcore anti-gay activists won't fucking care if a gay person is using it. It's totally irrelevant.

They're trying to make everything about sex instead of making everything about Jesus. What does gay Jesus need with a Linux distribution?

It just reminds me of that Rick and Morty joke

I'm leaving!

Ok, that was always allowed

We're making sure gay people know they're welcome in areas, where they've never really been made to feel unwelcome. What's the point? It's the same thing with adding the black and brown stripes to the pride flag. Has the gay community had its issues with racism? Seems like it, yeah. But the solution to that isn't elevating black people above everyone else and making a point of how welcome they are, it's cutting out the shit that makes some of them feel unwelcome.

https://martech.zone/complementary-color-palette-schemes/

Human eyes are designed to find certain color schemes appealing, and to find other schemes repulsive. This is another reason why the "progress pride" flag is messed up.

I mean like it's totally stupid. You're going to make a group about a Linux distribution and you care about who is fucking who? Why?

I remember back in college I got invited to gay gamer groups and they're like "oh well our group name is like gay gamers but we are totally open to straight people the like as well we are welcoming to all".

Yeah mate, that's what the gamer group is for. You think because we don't explicitly say it's gay means we are unwelcome to gay people? Hell no. We don't say anything about who you wanna fuck because it's not a hook up group. You wanna make a hook up group for gay people that wanna play games? Good for you! I wanna join the gaming group to play fucking games not hook up.

Oh boy, I better go put a sign on my front lawn that says "We don't diddle kids".

Do not diddle kids, it's no good diddling kids.
