A lot of people don't really analyze themselves or the things they claim to believe. They're what my parents call "stimulus-response machines." You say something or do something and they have a canned reaction to it already planned.

If it's a tit-man you're dealing with he may or may not know or acknowledge internally that he's just a pervert abusing a hormone recreationally. At least half of them (my guess) have just never thought any of it through honestly. They've strategically distracted themselves with constant connectedness and dopamine rushes instead of thinking.
