Think trans people are too mean about misgendering these days? Back in 1913, Amelio Robles Ávila would threaten to shoot anyone who called him a woman with a pistol.
What's the logic here? We should be okay with people losing their jobs over misgendering because "hey at least they aren't being murdered"?
