I'm becoming more and more convinced that Eddie Izzard is just doing a really long bit. Four years from now he's going to go "You actually went along with it, you fucking idiots. Joke's on you!" Or he's just lost his mind, who knows

He hasn’t lost his mind, he self-identified as a fetishist for decades until it was convenient to switch to being transgender. And then, he’s only a girl or in “girl-mode” when it’s convenient for his career, because when he goes to auditions/meetings/jobs in the US he is in “boy-mode”.

I think it was Grayson Perry that let slip that the reason he wore big puffy dresses was to cover the erection he got when dressed that way. I wonder if Eddie suffers similarly.

I know it shouldn't surprise me, but it just sounds too ridiculous to not be a bit. How can everyone not see how fucking ridiculous that is? How can anyone applaud as Eddie (not even going through the effort of changing his name) tries to go for a Labour women's spot?

It is itself utterly surreal that a surrealist comedian is claiming to be a part-time woman, and no one is raising any objections to it, not even the pro-trans side who he is actually harming with his gender of convenience act.

If it’s really just a choice, then just choose to be male and leave it there you numbskull!

I suppose it all makes some kind of sense if you remember Eddie’s probably jacking off to it all! 🤮
