This is beautiful on so many levels.

I love the disingenuous claim that it's not what Jamil said, it's how she said it that's the problem. Like when they claim that nobody's trying to force lesbians to date transwomen, they just don't want them to be a jerk about it. It's a lie, and it always is with these people. There is no permissible way to disagree with them.

And I think Jamil is close to seeing that. She can see that the magnitude of response she's getting over an inadvertent misgendering is literally insane. And what's truly crazy is that they may have succeeded in silencing her. Even if Jamil stays loyal to Team Trans, she will definitely be hesitant to speak up in the future.

And I'm sure she's legitimately shocked that leopards ate her face.

I'm a former liberal Democrat and once thought of myself as an LGBT ally but they turn on you, and I also spent a lot of time around a girl pretending to be a boy, and there just wasn't anything male about her, I came to realize she just has issues, and transfenderism (typo but that's hilarious to me for some reason) wasn't helping things, it seemed to only make them worse.

Come to think of it, I only ever voted for a Republican once. Funny to see this place called an extreme alt right site when I believe the majority is former libs.

When I was kid, there was a saying I'd heard from time to time--I haven't heard it recently, oddly enough--that a conservative was a liberal who'd been robbed/raped. Basically, you spend your life thinking/believing one way, until that way gets you splashed with shit and you suddenly realize the value of the way you'd ignored (or decried as wrong).
