That’s not how it works with lawsuits in the UK, you can only sue for actual damages. They will also have to prove that the clinic wasn’t following whatever the guidelines of accepted treatment were.

This unfortunately might be a case that goes no where or even bolsters the pro-trans side when they claim a victory.
