That's only a culture shock if you're completely ignorant. As she's female she's a complete idiot for not knowing that's a thing when as a woman she'd've grown up with all the warnings about men. Same with the kinship thing, hello where have you been? Whenever men express emotions or affection they get called gay.

If you are unaware of this you literally live under a rock with no interaction with humans ever.

Remember, a lot of these kinds of people were raised by the internet and social media. There's the very really possibility they live under a rock and have no interactions with humans outside Mommy/Daddy/maybe immediate family. I knew a few like this.They're the type that are a.) convinced there are no differences between males and females but simultaneously b.) want to transition/support transition for... some reason... even though there are supposedly no differences between males and females.

The internet really pushes the "male friendship isn't friendship, they're secretly into each other" thing so hard that even if they're raised on the internet they're aware that that's a thing. Like I genuinely don't see how someone could miss all the memes and not think about the impact it'd have.

These people are not capable of rational, coherent thought. This internet woke ideology as a whole, by its very nature, is not rational or coherent - it's emotional and psychological. This is why fighting it with logic and reasoning is such an uphill battle, especially since its ideologues are anything but logical.

Most woke people are this ignorant precisely because of the ideology. They don't realize where reality begins or ends.

For example,

Whenever men express emotions or affection they get called gay.

Wokes see this a social conditioning instead of a consequence of male biology. It's similar to deer antlers, which exist to fight with other males, but also plays a role in their sexual selection because females probably select the deer with bigger antlers. Woke people are saying things like "antlers are a social construct, and male deers should be ok with having no antlers".
