The community “Against Hate Subreddits” added that as well as the “groomer” slur, Reddit will now enforce its hate speech policy on those who portray being transgender as a mental illness, or quote transgender suicide statistics in a hateful way.

It’s like time travel fiction when the time line adjusts to changes in the past as they propagate forwards and the protagonist watches it happen before their eyes, except this is the narrative changing right in front of our faces.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Mermaids had quietly retired the “born in the wrong body” narrative too.
