Tiktok "systems" are the worst of the neo-tumblrites. My favourite part is how they've created their own fantasy terminology (fronting, headspace, frontstuck, protectors, etc.) for a mental illness that none of them have.

It's had real life implications, too. I was talking to a therapist and she said that a lot of teenage girls have come in declaring that they have this condition. Claiming that they dissociate when they're merely bored in class and zoning out. Can't imagine dealing with them in a professional capacity like that.

Whatever happened to headmates? At least it was contained in their mind and they didn't....do this.

This amuses me a lot. When I was young, to "front" meant to present an image of yourself that's fake, to pretend you're someone that you're not. It was always people pretending to be more interesting or important than they actually were.

I am confused about this pic. Paralysis? Fakeclaim? Huh?? I think i need an explanation.

Fakeclaim is a term that DIDiots came up with, it's to claim that someone is faking their illness. Not exactly sure why it's a flair on here.

The paralysis is related to a character from a film(?) called Newsies, there's a kid named Crutchie who can't use one of his legs or something so he needs crutches. This person is claiming that this character is their split personality and that when this personality is active they experience leg paralysis to match the movie. However somehow the supposed paralysis is on the wrong leg, so this person feels like a fraud.
