Seems more like you just wanted to have the "last word." If someone says "leave me alone," that doesn't absolutely require a response, you know. You can also just stop sending messages to her, same as you advise to her. Sometimes you can just walk off into the sunset.

I see this one wasn't too bad. I had apparently gotten into the gin yesterday, and kind of went on a tear. But as it happens, that time of my life has faded into the hazy past, and it's almost like today is a new day!
