I'll never know what their problem is.

They hate you for what you are.

It's quite simple.

It's called misogyny.

maybe so but anytime this is mentioned, its dismissed as a lie.

They hate me because I'm [innocuous reason]

Deflection is a psychological defense mechanism that people use to take the blame off of themselves. There's generally a behavioral issue causing adverse reactions.

Unnecessary hot take. It's annoying to have to defend yourself against dismissal and silencing all day. We just got here so no thanks.

You're "too new" to engage in discussions? If you make the sub private, then no outsiders will see your public comments or claims, and you'll be able to say anything you like without people wanting to respond.

[–]Gigababejfl[S] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (20 children)

Was that discussion you were seeking with this comment? I couldn't tell.

Also thanks for the heads up for the privacy feature. Sub is opened for the displaced femcels. Never even occurred to me this same sort of thing where random people lecture you on Reddit would be here as well but I suppose that makes sense.

More like debate, maybe. I really disagreed with jet199s claims, but you being the OP and having a seemingly less rigid stance led me to reply to you instead. There were several comments on the page that appeared to reflect mental disorders I passed by, because it was obvious no rational discussion would be possible. But you get those on any topic.

/s/HolocaustSkepticism - Saw this private sub mentioned yesterday. That splash page is all you'll see when trying to go to a private sub while not whitelisted.

reddit, rukkus (sp), poal, phuks, saidit, and voat have all worked this way. Unless your sub is set to private, all of your posts appear on the 'all' page. The only complaints I've had have been from the Qtards/Qultists/Qews/Q-followers, and I suspect their cult has a script because it's always a variation of "why are you here?" Uh, because you posted this to 'all' and it was right there when I scrolled down?

Anyway, I respond to any post or comment on any topic when I feel like I have something to say, and disagreements can be particularly interesting when you find someone willing to defend their claims or opinions. If you were saying Trump needs to let Biden take office as his final criminal act before "the arrests" begin, I might be strongly inclined to reply. The flat earthers are pretty interesting too, when you find one that can be semi-rational.

They hate you for what you are. It's called misogyny.

This claim appears to fit the pattern of substituting an innocuous and non-offensive reason in place of the real reason, which is usually a behavior. "I was arrested for [just speaking the truth]", when in reality, it was because they were shouting and breaking stuff after being told to gtfo. "They hate me for [being a guy]", when it's actually because you keep peeing on the seat.

Do you have examples of non-behavior based misogyny in people who aren't mentally ill? I mean, I'm not seeing "simply being female" as offensive enough to warrant actual hate. Change my mind?

Oops, I did it again.

The reply below is pretty revealing. Is that a typical example of a 'femcel'?

[–]Gigababejfl[S] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

Look dude. Not really interested in engaging with you, tbh. Idk what it is about some of you guys that think a woman's day needs to be spent explaining ourselves to you. We are what we are. Don't understand the fascination. And no quotes are need around the word femcel.

That person literally posted this 2 days ago:

    I hate femoids

Good, thots and their cunt gross

You could've taken 2 seconds out of your day to check his post history, the user you're engaging with is a troll. But your immediate conclusion was that he was a femcel. Ok

Have taken your advice and checked your history... But with that other user, had already seen some pretty ludicrous hate for people with penises, so it just seemed like more of the same. Those comments seem to be gone or edited now.

And for whatever reason, Gigababejfl appeared to be playing into the theme with that "if you ask me anything, I'll complain about those darned men wanting females to spend their days answering questions".

Now, of course, they've explained that I hit the nail on the head with the mental illness theory. It's probably on this post somewhere.

A lot of us search by r/all so we see everything not purposely excluded in subreddit settings.
