Dunning–Kruger effect

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias whereby people with low ability, expertise, or experience regarding a type of task or area of knowledge tend to overestimate their ability or knowledge. Some researchers also include the opposite effect for high performers: their tendency to underestimate their skills. In popular culture, the Dunning–Kruger effect is often misunderstood as a claim about general overconfidence of people with low intelligence instead of specific overconfidence of people unskilled at a particular task

It happens a lot. Especially to EXPERTS and not to "low ability" people.
Because the experts often have no real-world experience of certain problems,
or have learned theories that only look at problems in one biased way.

Often this becomes a very clear when two different fields of science overlap.
Like from one science field you can see that the other scientific field is bullshit.
A clear example is that most of "gender studies" is bullshit from biology.

Especially the last few years we have seen how "experts" were complete clowns.
