It happens a lot. Especially to EXPERTS and not to "low ability" people.
Because the experts often have no real-world experience of certain problems,
or have learned theories that only look at problems in one biased way.

Often this becomes a very clear when two different fields of science overlap.
Like from one science field you can see that the other scientific field is bullshit.
A clear example is that most of "gender studies" is bullshit from biology.

Especially the last few years we have seen how "experts" were complete clowns.

For some reason, they have set up false flat earth theories and even made a flat earth society and even made flat earth conferences as a front, while they censor any actual flat earthers. They also promote debunks of flat earth during searches.

These things do not prove flat earth to be true but I find it interesting, because they used the same methods to censor the alt right and race realism originally, a concept I know is true because I studied it for years trying to debunk it.

Flat earth seems to be false, at least to me, but I do not find it as "retarded bunk". It is a falsifiable hypothesis just like any scientific hypothesis.

The flat earth concepts you've listed are however retarded bunk, I'll agree with you on that :)

Now you are clear.

The many variables and concepts I've listed above have been used by many Flat-Earthers, and perhaps inauthentically by many trolls. I'm certainly no expert in it, but like many conspiracies, ideas, and faiths, I've tried to give it a fair shake to see what comes of it. My assessment: retarded bunk.

There are more than just a few fallacies to Flat Earth theory.

Whether it's turtles, elephants, more dirt, or molten forever, it makes no sense to have infinity below and an eternal ice wall with a limited dome above. Further, the setting of the sun and moon in planar rotations is ridiculous on many fronts with obvious physics. And of course, when you study the ellipses of astral bodies, the orbital mechanics + 3D space, 3D math, 3D physics + spherical planetoids make logical sense - PLUS there's no reason Earth should be considered exceptional above anything else in the Universe other than by religious retards.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies

I wonder if there is a list of physics fallacies.

Play with me.
Let's assume the world were actually flat, but you'd want to convince the world that it is round. To do this, you use science. Empirical science indeed.
One way to contribute to the idea that thinking the earth is flat is to imprint on the minds of every scientist the idea that the world being flat cannot be an option to even consider. Describing the problem of infinite regress, one of the fundamentals of science, as "Turtles all the way down", ie. making fun of the flat earth idea, would be a good start.
Now every time a scientist thinks of infinite regress, he reinforces to himself the idea that flat earth is ridiculous. He conditions himself to never even consider such a stupid idea, because the idea is fundamentally flawed.

I'm not saying the earth is flat. I think the concept mentioned above is interesting.

A champagne socialist is someone who talks about and identifies themselves as being someone on the left wing, for example a socialist or communist, but lives a life of indulgence in extremely trivial and material things.

"Champagne Socialism" or "Limousine Liberalism" are derogatory terms that are usually used to describe upper class people who are ardent supporters of left-wing causes. What's interesting is that the terms are used by people on both the political right and left, in both cases to showcase a sort of hypocrisy to these leftist causes.

Gravitas: Socialist leaders and a life of luxury (4:31) ~ WION, Oct 30, 2020

The term " champagne socialist " is a snarl word used primarily by folks who believe in shooting the messenger that people who have been the beneficiaries of capitalism should be precluded from criticizing its failures and shortcomings. In other words, those who have eight cows shouldn't try to redistribute your three.

To a Soviet citizen, the idea that wearing perfume or drinking champagne were somehow uniquely incompatible with communism would have been nonsensical. While excess and pleasure were firmly associated with the evils of capitalism in the immediate aftermath of the Bolshevik Revolution, over time Soviet leaders adjusted their thinking.

I don't think it's that simple. IMO, Malthus was "correct" only because TPTB goals align.

I would point to peak phosphate as just one example. Producing food for 8 billion people without synthetic chemical fertilizers is not possible, and we do not have an unlimited supply of phosphate to mine from the ground. The population is already higher than what can be achieves by sustainable means, which the estimates put at somewhere between 0.5 - 2.0 Billion people without relying on techniques that cannot be sustained

It's been emerging since Pizzagate, and it's relevant again here in the Netherlands now that an official broadcast researched it and concluded that it's happening. Our house of representatives unanimously voted in favor of an official government investigation. It's being covered up, of course, and the investigation is set up to fail. The victims would have to testify before the very people who are accused of partaking (namely the judicial arm of the government). It isn't emerging to the wider public that watches TV.

I know this from following the Dutch independent media and can't find an English source for you right now. But for Pizzagate: check out this video to start with. This is a broader, Western phenomenon.

Vaccism (or vaxxism) is COVID-hysteria related discrimination and social prejudice adversarially dividing the vaccinated and the unvaccinated (however they may define it) in many ways similar to sexism, racism, ableism, anti-Semitism, and apartheid. Exactly. I was struck recently remembering the history of white only diners and water fountains. Allowing only vaccinated to dine at a restaurant is no different from allowing only whites to dine. Saying un-injected are not allowed to eat there is the same immoral discrimination as saying blacks are not allowed to eat there.

/s/Vaccism

Vaccism (or vaxxism) is manufactured COVID-hysteria related discrimination and social prejudice adversarially dividing the vaccinated and the unvaccinated (however they may define it) in many ways similar to sexism, racism, ableism, anti-Semitism, and apartheid. Vaccism characterizes people as defined by their vaccination status and inferior to the compliant. On this basis, people are assigned or denied certain perceived privileges, rights, and fundamental freedoms.

This subSaidIt will document the abundant stories of the new rapidly growing global problems of state-sanctioned vaccine apartheid and endless examples of the coercive sanctions intended to bring the sheeple under the boot of the psychopathic allopathic big pharma tyranny.

(Definition by me, until a better one comes along.)

I'm trying to figure out this new ethical terrorism stuff.

Yes, that's /u/d3rr's term, but it's confusing. I thought "ethical counter-terrorism" might be better, then it occurred to me that it's simply cautionism once the ethics take the teeth of violence and deception out of the terror.

Maybe it can cure my compulsive onanism?

You can't suppress billions of years of that evolutionary drives without tremendous blowback. My solution is to just rub it out and clear my mind for a while. The sooner that compulsion is dealt with the sooner I can focus and be productive. Keep your thoughts from drowning in those distractions by keeping that sack empty.

Then turn your thoughts to being a productive cautionist.

Ah, spin, interesting. Adding new perverse meaning. Let me try...

Is that a new spin-fapping technique, or just the basic sit-on-it-and-spin?

Term inspired by d3rr who said, "It's all masturbation, only ethical terrorism matters. Put it on my virtual memorial."

You're crazy AF to quote someone who faps to everything except for "ethical terrorism".

We're seeing that a lot on the left now. Certain identity groups become extreme left wing because no one else will put up with their nonsense, not because their beliefs are actually left.

We're seeing that a lot rebranded as "The Left" now. Certain identity groups become agents of chaos because the powers that be benefit from their nonsense, not because their beliefs are actually "Left". The Hegelian dialectic - problem, reaction, solution - will ultimately feed the gluttonous "authorities" more power.

Interesting that so many Jews turned to communism because they were the only group who'd support them.

Slavic is where we get the word slave from. Why is there a term for so relatively little violence against Jews and not about the plight of the Slavic people? That article only lists thousands of Jewish deaths.

Inspirational credit to /u/Jesus.

Great word.

I'm gonna try to use it more, though I'm not sure how.

I'm not in favour of "violent riots incited with the aim of massacring or expelling an ethnic or religious group", including Jews (and would be exceptionally difficult to do against Zionists, banksters, the corporatocracy, and/or the ruling class).

However, I think we can popularize and in a fashion reverse-weaponize the term by accusing the ruling class, propaganda, and status quo sheeple of calling for a pogrom against pro-choice "anti-vaxxers", free-thinkers, and truth-seekers.

Well you can't use logic and reason to convince these folks, they're not conscious so they can't think of higher level topics. Most people think there was something fishy going on with epstein, but they'll think in terms of Trump getting him killed or getting him free because they were in cahoots. If you then say well there's no evidence of that they'll say ok so what? They can't consider implications unless an MSM article discusses the implications.
