SPOILERS

After having seen too many YouTube videos discussing this season and this episode, I have a few take-aways they've neglected.

1) Winter came and winter fell at Winterfell. How is no one even mentioning this.

2) WunWun the last giant died in the courtyard of Winterfell. We never see how they dealt with his HUGE body. Some have said they burned it, though I don't recall this. Maybe they chopped it up to move it out of the Winterfell bailey. (If eating giant meat is not cannibalism, then, if they'd preserved it as Giant Jerky™ they could feed all the armies. Or maybe they'd get mad giant disease.) Either way, it's gone. So it makes no sense that the zombie giant, fallen by the epic little girl eye poke, could possibly be WunWun.

3) Lots of irritating irrational terrible battle strategies on both sides, too many to dump all at once now if anyone even cares. I know this was, in part, for a linear cinematic roll out. Despite this, over all it was a very intense and excellent episode.

4) "Fem dropcatch slain". This is a meme/saying I want to spread around. Arya uses this technique on the Night King, as she did in practice sparring, as did Rey with the lightsabre against Snoke's Red Guard. I feel like it might have been used elsewhere too. It need not be a pro or anti feminism thing.

5) Some who feel the ever-looming threat of the winter death is akin to the threat of Climate Change and feel like it has been a MacGuffin that was resolved too easily. I'd rather compare the mindless sheeple zombies to the wights and the 1% elites to the royals and their minions who claim to have a right to exist as they do.

7) Who has a better memory: wight or goldfish?

I guess no one cares to discuss this.
