Lurk some more and you'll see that those sorts of posts are not normal here. That was clearly a troll account.

I believe that post removal works differently on Saidit because the site doesn't believe in censorship and it tries to be more transparent on its moderation actions. These posts are removed from public view of the sub, but if you go into the user's profile then you can see these removed posts. Check and see, all their posts are publicly removed here: https://saidit.net/s/Introductions/comments/7jh1/i_was_banned_from_reddit_for_hate_speech/

My bad, sorry. I'm still learning how this site works, and it looked like all those comments were still on the main thread to me. Glad to know there's some hope.
