I saw a lot of support for just calling them straight/gay/lesbian/bi.

They can keep that term, because the meaning has changed to include trans people. Which is totally fine, everyoneis free to date and have sex with whoever they want.

I say just leave them aloneand maybe they will leave us alone.

Second this. I thought of a few alternatives but it just convoluted things

It's already convoluted because of the trans issue. I mean, you guys are calling yourself supers.

Valid. I don’t like the use of ‘super’, but it’s useful to have a term for us- it’s not what I would have chosen! Tbh, I still use ‘bi’ as it still somewhat has retained its original meaning- pan refers to gender.

There is already a term for straight and gay people.
