Obfuscation is the funniest and best way to be anonymous in these times. The data isn't checked so you tell enough people you are a scientist it eventually shows up on the doxxing websites for employers. Also I love dna testing, I'm an albino black native American. Facebook profile? Computer generated picture of me and brad pit, linked in? DEA asset with service dog. I made those all up so you can't find me, but my name is Steve M'larkey in real life, just add it to my dox.

Hi Steve M'larkey.
Call me C. Rock O'Shyte.

It weirds me out all the stores that now take video of people in the stores and sell that to the government to train their facial recognition and tracking systems, as the article mentioned. Like Wal-mart

Oh great, they are not only adding this in metros, but they are adding it in my city's metro :(
Edit:
The devices will be used in response to terrorism threats, or to scan large crowds at a station near a protest or a sporting event, officials said.
This is relief. The first article gave me the impression that this would be happening all the time…
Edit 2:
The scanners resemble a small trunk on wheels. They can be pointed toward an escalator or a station entrance, and can scan people from 30 feet away without requiring people to line up or slow down.
Oh, well that's still pretty bad.
You know, a lot of this info just makes me not want to go outside ever again.
Edit 3:
Riders will be warned that they will be subject to search before they are scanned, Wiggins said. (At Union Station on Tuesday, a sign posted next to the body scanner read, “Passengers proceeding past this point are subject to Metro security screening and inspection.”)
At least there is opportunity to avoid it…
Just wear a fat suit all the time, it will keep you thin, then when you need to make a get away, they'll never recognize you.
