The reddit API controversy is a great opportunity for Saidit to expand and grow it's community. How can we best take advantage of this?

problem is saidit is not making any money. You need to make money in order to hire a team to make changes. Ads is no longer a good way to make money. You can add a subscription feature but no one will pay.

I told people to come to saidit on reddit but it's full of leftists and they don't want to come here because it's full of alt-right people

who cares about the leftists. Don't please them just so they can come here

There are other ways to make money - with, for, and from SaidIt.

We could set up a community market to sell things like any other web store. Put my SaidIt logo on T-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. or sell custom things folks make, or services, or whatever you like in a flea market scenario. I'm sure we could think of more things than this short list off the top of my head.
