TIL that /u/magnora7 is going around claiming that I had a “positive” stance toward Hitler for posting this meme in a comment on /s/politics – essentially calling me, a half Jewish POC, a Nazi sympathizer.

This is related to Dio's post about anti-Jewish content possibly scaring away new members. A lot of the people posting that stuff had their comments deleted, not sure if they're banned. People want free speech while still being shielded from content they don't want to view.

Personally, if filters were on the table --and I don't believe they are-- I'd say make 8 high level categories that people can turn on and off depending on what they want to see. What they are isn't as important as limiting it to a 5-9 items, otherwise people will forget them. And allow an unlimited amount of lower level tags replacing subs.

Filters based on snowflake-level is a good idea. Let it default to "medium snowflake" and allow "not a snowflake" to see everything.

I am 100% racially jewish, but I am not a snowflake, so I am fine with seeing any content.
