I barely used this site the first couple of months because of it, then it died down. The unironic jew obsession has blown up again lately.

Coincides with a rise in troll attacks this last few weeks as well. I think it's deliberate to make the site look bad to drive away newcomers, tbh. I don't think it's organic discussion.

    I agree it doesn't seem to be in good faith, and I also think that about his post a few days ago, that was calling out some other saidit user for breaking rules, that caused an incredible amount of drama for no reason. I'm sensing a pattern here

    Makes sense. It's effective too. Same thing scared me away from voat.co back in the day. Had me seldomly using this site the first few months I was here.

    I think a non-politics version of this site, or a no politics no religion rule version of this site, would help avoid this attack method.

    Ruqqus did something similar with the guild (sub) categories update. Maybe something like that could be implemented here.
