For anyone here who isn’t familiar with this routine yet, it’ll start with this leftist demanding that subs considered egregious be removed, then it’ll continue to the point where being right wing is against the rules. Many subs will be crippled by the quarantine “feature” too, but ultimately be banned eventually.

u/magnora7, you do realize that right wingers are the overwhelming majority of your users, right? If you can’t find a way to prevent this process from the very beginning, your site will go the way of digg since your user base will abandon this place, with the left wingers simply staying on reddit. I’m not sure of the solution myself, but your website will not survive if you go down this slippery slope like reddit did.

You can still discuss e.g. eugenics with languages other than english. I don't think the algoritms are good enough to do translations yet. Also there are subreddits like catholic integralism, which could be described as clerical fascism, but because people there are careful, they can exist.

Some of us are fairly left-wing too, but got banned and removed more and more often as censorship got stronger. Nevertheless, it will eventually get to the point where we run into problems, too, if this trend persists. I really hope it doesn't.

IP2 has alot of lowlife trolls and haters, i bet that it was one of the people from that sub or someone who hates Ice.

Hopefully this wont keep repeating for every sub though...

Well said. Do not cater to the vocal minority, it will not go well for your website. These crybullies got their way and made Reddit into their own personal safe space and now they have nobody left but each other so now they are coming here.
