Basically that post should have been monitored and if the poster kept on spewing fallacies, banned. If we are to follow the pyramid of debate accordingly.

This is not a free speech sub to spew fallacies, but this current block feature will only create more echo chambers which I despise.

I'd like to see another option when submitting a "report" on a user. A step more intense than just reporting on low tier content, a private "nomination to ban" that is not anonymous, but only between the user and the admin. When a user unnecessarily over-uses the admin can PM that person to cool it. Otherwise this might be useful in isolating trolls faster and more effectively. Or maybe the report already does that.
