It is blatantly obvious that the more a society is similar the more cohesive it is. The fact you can't see this and need studies on it proves you are what is completely wrong with society :-) Next you will be quoting studies on why lions only attack buffalo because of capitalism. I'm going to guess you didn't read what I linked. To repeat the point: No, what you believe is not supported by the data. The factors that do control cohesion are, in order: Health, wealth, relative poverty.

These are factors, but is not the main reason for the breakdown of social trust.
