What are the moderation logs?

The public moderation logs (they were private on reddit, so you never knew what was being removed until people made those moderation transparency sites like ceddit, etc). Like https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/about/log for this sub. (The link is next to the list of moderators in the sidebar of each sub)
