i have always thought that it would be a huge improvement if the OP had the privilege to ban users from posting in his threads.

I agree that at first glance this does sound like a reasonable potential solution.

Unfortunately, this would effectively equate to custom censorship at the OP level. This would be even worse than the Admin/Mod censorship, because everyone could do it. Increased suppression of communication/ideas.

How do you know if someone has a better idea, if the information is suppressed?

this would allow people to start conversation threads and avoid having people shit all over their threads.

    just fyi, i spent more than ten years inside of islam and i am quite confident that muslims 100% 100% 100% drove a van loaded with explosives into the basement of the wtc and then they followed up by flying hijacked airplanes into the wtc buildings.
