Funny thing. I was looking for a non-religious image for my "New Religion". This image came up on DuckDuckGo's limited image search. I wasn't sure until after I posted it that it was Burning Man. Further, I didn't know that two of my paintings are in the background. What look like a distant wall are actually the backs of the seats in Center Camp at Burning Man, in 2008. The red sunny day and blue cloudy night I'd painted a few years earlier when all those seats were newly assembled.

Of the main organizers of the Balinese Monkey Chants, a couple were my housemates in 2005 when the went to Bali for the International Gamelan Festival. I witnessed them do it sooo many times I lost count, yet it never got boring.

Not the same paintings, but others I did, with the Om Hands and Flaming Lotuses : https://infogalactic.com/info/File:Burning_Man_2004_Bench_Paintings_By_jSunshine_-_Photo_By_Halcyon_-_0185318-R1-052-24A.jpg
