      She had a gun. She used it in an armed robbery. That she said it was in the car as she jumped out aggressively is meaningless. It was perfectly reasonable for the police to think she was about to shoot them.

      She should have sat in the car and followed instructions.

        Criminals who fight cops are the only ones responsible for what happens to them. It is completely unreasonable to expect someone to be able to identify if an attacker is holding a gun as they swing around in the dark.
