Men's "respect" for women is always conditional in that women must submit to men and serve him and his ideology. All men believe some women deserve to be beaten and raped regardless of his politics. Some men think women who wear short skirts deserve to be raped, some men think lesbians deserve to be beaten up and some men think radical feminists who don't respect trannies deserve to be beaten up. Men think they have the authority to punish women he feels are misbehaving and then will try to convince the woman that she deserved it. The only women that men think deserve to live free of violence are the ones that completely give up ownership of their life to men.

Yeah they do all this and then wonder why women are initiating most of the divorces. Then instead of asking what it is the husbands are doing to make them want to leave, they both blame it on women being "sluts" or in the rights case, feminism for "breaking up the nuclear family." Rather than just realizing women are being treated like servants. Underpaid at work and un-cared for at home. Basically doing most of the work in general. But it's the evil wife's fault for leaving instead of CoMmUniCaTiNg.

Really all feminism did in that regard was give women the opportunity to leave rather than be servants to men with no escape. They want that shit gone asap because men can't keep women happy for long and they know that if we have a say, they'll be alone.

This is exactly what I've been saying for a couple of years now. But my left friends won't accept it. My right friends (surprisingly) accept it and say, yes these are problems we have and we need to make ourselves better. I was so surprised by their response that I've actually stayed in touch with them more these past few years. (They're not American/Christian) I've been voting independent. Only for parties with a female leader.

Don't fall for potential. It's the same way an abusive man promises his wife he will change but he never does. Promises aren't good for me. Show me a right wing man who want to make it easier for a woman to live without a man.

It's not like it is abroad. Most right wing men I know are supportive of women's careers, women's education and women's right to be alone. Where I'm from it's sexual freedom that they hate. Not much else. It's a very "education and career above all else" sort of place.
