Do you have any specifics? Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012. Rogue One was after that and was pretty good. If you're talking about the Rei-centric films, are they any worse than what Lucas did with Episodes 1-3?

I feel pretty safe saying they were worse. The prequals weren't great - the dialog and acting left a lot to be desired, the rushed feeling of Anakin suddenly going from: "I'm questioning this Jedi doctrine" to "Murder kids? Yes, sir!" wasn't great...

... But compare that to the seeming concerted effort of the second sequel film to ignore and dismantle all the work of the first film, tear down the heroes of the original trilogy, defy the laws of the setting, and then the desperate scramble job of the third film to try and make all that damage make sense and push some kind of narrative forward with only scattered, disparate, broken bits of any kind of storyline... It's really night and day. One of these trilogies seems like a genuine effort to tell the story of the rise and fall of Darth Vader, just without the original lightning in a bottle that made the magic of the original trilogy... The other is a mess of seemingly bitter hatred for the previous writers and directors, the story, the characters and the universe as each film seeks to undo what happened in the previous one.

I enjoyed Rogue One too. The Solo movie... Why was it needed? Han is the mysterious hero. Why flesh out his back story? It wasn't needed.

It was the disrespect to the Han, Luke, and Leia with how their story arcs ended. IMO Palpatine returning made the original trilogy meaningless. Luke and Han being broken men. Han being a deadbeat Dad. They lost hope and fell apart. Then Rey killing Palpatine and Palpatine possessing her. I don't care what they say after the movie. She killed him as he wanted so he could possess her.

Looking back on the latest trilogy makes me think it should have been just 2 movies and stopped with The Last Jedi. There was no reason the The Rise of Skywalker. Rey taking the Skywalker name was just a subterfuge of Palpatine in her.

I just read this article. https://news.mit.edu/2015/harbinger-failure-consumers-unpopular-products-1223 Then I thought about the failures LucasFilm has experienced with Kathleen Kennedy and her entourage. I wonder if they just happen to be Harbingers of Failure.
