Because word of mouth has value, and advertising can fool people into poor choices. And Disney is an evil corporation that holds back copyright law because Mickey Mouse was made in the 1930s and they'll never let copyright advance past then otherwise he'd become a public domain character. Anything that hastens their demise is good.

Unfortunately the deep pockets that can buy nasty spin doctors, PR firms, and review sites like RottenTomatoes often trumps word of mouth. There has been a horde of leftist-libtard propaganda movies and TV shows over the last few years that they have profited from...Captain Marvel being one that comes instantly to mind. That said, tis better to at least try to warn clueless people that they are about to step in a steaming pile of BS, than keep silent and enjoy the hijinks that ensue.
