Fluoride. We sit here and bitch about this and that, while consuming more and more. Two international health organizations have labeled it a neurotoxin, and too much fluoride has become a legit issue (dental fluorosis), but somehow fluoridation is still a contentious issue.

it's not a fair comparison as chlorine is used to treat the water and fluoride isn't. fluoride is a topical medicine additive.

Oh. I see fluoride just overtreats the people drinking the water, it does not disinfect the water. Toothpaste already has fluoride.

My mind is blown at the corruptness of the US water works. Thanks for the reply!

Yeah it's really quite bizarre. I think the US and much of the world is slowly rolling back fluoride, but it's contentious and is gonna take a long time.
