I saw that thread too, and used ceddit to see what had happened. They were discussing how admins could and would give free gold/silver to threads to make them take off.
The comments were deleted by moderators.

That is one hell of a way to prove a theory because Ceddit only shows deleted if their deleted by Mods or admins so yeah they basically proved it's right by covering it up.
