The actual content there is very valuable because it still comes from a community. I'd much rather read a faggit thread where someone asks the question I have and gets answers from humans than read a commercial "10 x with quality y" article where only generic things are mentioned.

Reddit is still wrong about a lot of stuff though. Where do you think Redditors get their information?

They're reliable so long as the subject is apolitical.
