There's nothing wrong with the post or the comment by the mod team. One can see the border immigration problem in a much broader, accurate context than to say that there is a (southern) border crisis. As noted in the Twitter comment - there are no massive lines of people crossing in spots that are easy to locate. Migrants are entering from all US borders, in different ways. Entry points at the southern border are numerous, stretching across several states. The GOP have been and will be lying about this constantly, trying to paint a picture of hordes of zombie-like poor people are ammassed in a specific place, like locusts that will devour everything in their path. The Reddit post and comment are accurate because the GOP are spreading this disinformation about long lines at a southern border crossing with non-white, ravaging monsters are swarming the area. It's racist dogwhistle campaigning of the worst kind. The Trump simping portion of the GOP could have signed the recent bipartisan bill that was for the deportation of illegal immigrants, but they did not. They're lying scum. As usual, they're creating problems for the 99%.
