If the husband didn't know and didn't sign off the interaction, it was, at best, an abuse of trust. Who knows? Maybe they have an open marriage.

I think open marriage is the default in that part of the world. There's at least one Nordic country where inquiring about your wife's fidelity is legally considered abusive.

A country with such a law is a country I will have no sympathy for if it got invaded.
