No one argues that abortions aren't warranted in those situations.

This unfortunately is not true at all. Many people consider abortion murder. From that perspective, rape and incest have no bearing on the situation. Abortion to save the life of the mother might be acceptable, since self defense is about the only justification for homicide, but I'm sure there are extremists who would say not even then. Women have already been prosecuted for miscarriage too, incidentally, and I expect that to increase.

don't get me wrong, abortions in those situations would only be acceptable immediately after the assault - like as in a week or so - and I 100% consider them murder.

I don't think that abortions for women who were just irresponsible are acceptable AT ALL. Ever. At any stage in the pregnancy. As I said, its eminently preventable. Between abstinence, condoms, HBC, and Plan B - birth control is 100 percent effective. If you create a life, it is yours to protect - a mother killing her unborn child because she failed to practice any restraint, personal responsibility, or just common sense, as a human adult is the very epitome of degeneracy and social decline.

All that said...the overturning of Roe v Wade is not the horrible end of civilization event that everybody is whining about. Its delegating the funding/legality of abortions to the state level which is completely reasonable. The only thing that will change in most states is where the money is coming from to fund them - it'll be state taxes now instead of federal taxes.

no really, i just did. I prayed that you would have the strength to let go of your anger and open your mind to other possibilities aside from what social media has told you.

No, not many, simply untrue. Pro-lifers believe in the case of real danger to the mother saving her life comes first. Weirdo outliers that believe evil shit are not an example against the whole. I've met leftos that actually believe the Catholic Church used to burn witches. I don't other progressives on their ignorance.

Read a little more what other opinions are before representing them. I.e. I understand the pro-choice concerns regards reproductive rights. And it's a valid concern and worth listening to

That is so obviously propaganda. Do you seriously not understand that they called it a miscarraige when it was in fact an abortion?

    [–]IMissPorn 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

See? That's the kind of attitude I'm worried about. Miscarriages happen, shockingly often actually, people just don't like to talk about it. If in even 1% of cases people look at the circumstances say "obviously an abortion" that's a huge risk for injustice.

    [–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Obviously misscairages happen, but the law does not allow the government to arbitrarily claim it was malicious. They obviously had proof that this was not a legitimate misscairage.

I wish the government were as reasonable as you think it is. Don't trust it much myself.

There is no money to be made in this.
