No, it's just that the tl;dr is true.

They guy can show affection but the feelings aren't there.

I'm sure a lot of us have been in relationships hoping they turn into something special but if it's still like that after a couple of months it's probably never going to happen.

I love my wife and I love talking to her. I make an effort when we talk to be cheerful and sound happy to see her because I am, but it does sometimes take effort to make sure that feeling is communicated.

She does get mad I use some of the same pet names for her, my niece, and animals. And really hates if I say she's a good girl.

I personally think this is good advice, sometimes we need to put a little effort into expressing our feelings.

We'll probably just get each other a small gift, maybe see a movie if anything good is in. I think we totally forgot last year. We don't make a big deal over it.
