Nice. Was it Spez or Mr. Williams?

Alexis Ohanian, never heard of him but he's being called a co-founder.

I'm not sure anyone cares about $50 million. 1.5 billion dollars just flowed out of Solana in the last 24hrs, but usually news like this pumps the price.

Alexis is u/kn0thing on Reddit, one of the co-founders. He and Spez are considered the only ones, now that Aaron Swartz has been forgotten and erased.

Gossip tidbits - he bounces in-and-out of being a part of Reddit as it suits him and fellow investors. He was one of the major people responsible for Victoria (u/chooter) getting fired under Ellen Pao, and is the member of the board who resigned in 2020 with the condition that a black person be hired to replace him.

He plays political games and follows the money, and is just kinda slimy all around.

Not that I know anything about this, but I wonder if it's a "market correction' after a relatively good month: https://www.coinbase.com/price/solana . But I agree - funny how that recent announcement seems to have caused the 'correction'.

They didn't cause the drop, there's actually issues people aren't talking about that shook people's faith. Solana minted twice as many coins as they told anyone about, they caught and were supposed to burn them, not sure they did. The crypto may actually be worth half what its listed for.

And we rode it up from $25. A person could stick with SOL, testing the resistance level @ 250 and failing, or just take the money they made and go for another run. LTC just went nuts. $269 -- nooch!

But this isn't a shitpost, I'd have expected positive news to pump the price a little and it didn't at all. More importantly, BAT also partnered with SOL.

He is Missus Williams, there is a video online where someone steals her phone. Serena then goes on to chase the guy down as her husband watches and did nothing. She has more testosterone flowing through her bloodstream than he does.

I wish I would have bought this when it was $0.85

Oh boy, I don't know what the hell this is but all I can say is that I am tired of social media, I am tired of being hit with that fucking dopamine bullshit, I should fuck off of it. Web 3.0 Social Media Tech? No thanks, I'll stick to decentralised forums and so on, honestly I need to take a break from social media and focus on other things that is not the social media blunder we're consuming like bread. At this point technology is going to get under my and probably most peoples skin.

I'm sure whatever platform they come up with you will gladly use. Once you're banned from that platform you will appear on a seldom visited clone of that platform to say how the platform that banned you sucks and you don't miss the platform that banned you. Shalom

Reddit is worth just $10bn, Solana is $70bn and it's been a wild ride up from $25 to $250. I think it's interesting that the news had no positive impact on the price, albeit with an insignificant investment of a mere 50 million.

I'm not banned from Reddit, I much prefer Saidit, and this post isn't bitching about reddit. It's more of a crypto market thing.
