I predicted this the instant I saw that "whistleblower." She's on Facebook's side, and probably paid VERY well by Facebook. Facebook needs to have all it's competition censor as much as it does, so that people have nowhere to leave to, when the clamp down farther on censorship.
At this point, FB knows that if it pushes it too far, it'll piss off enough people, that they could experience what happened to MySpace and Digg. So they have to ensure there's no freedom-land for people to flee to.
