You have any plants he might have eaten? Spider plants in particular are a favorite of cats because it has an opiate like effect on them, that causes the nausea. My Peaches used to like munching on mine, made her sick every time.
You still have two cats?

No plants indoors. Yep 2 cats. They are much better now that I let them out at night.
