How do you "laugh at" someone if you ban them off your platform?

They wanted bigots to laugh at hateful ideology and turn into their allies, but when they realized people found r/ItsAFetish far more hilarious than r/GenderCynical, and trans activism more hateful than radical feminism, they had to resort to the nuclear option by wiping the other side from existence (on their platform) because they lost the war.
