Not that anyone read this post, but another thing I'm doing and totally forgot was this:

I drop all my important papers and receipts into a common collecting box (an upside down lid of a file-folder box) to be sorted out at my leisure. I will go through it from time to time to tidy it up, file things away, etc. But every new year it's important for me to purge it and start fresh. There's nothing special or different for the new decade.

Is this another painfully tedious detail? Yes. But not for those in the GTD or Getting Things Done ergonomics and productivity community. Yes, it's a real thing. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Getting+Things+Done

I read it :)

I'm not talking about surviving the US Election, prepping for the apocalypse, or rebelling against the New New World Order.

I'm talking about your day to day routine.

I'm going to let the water carry me away and stop resisting, trying to swim up the stream like I did in the previous decade. It causes me nothing but stress, and I still seem to end up further down the stream anyway. I'm so fearful of what's at the bottom of this river, when it could be a beautiful oasis.

It seems you're working on the physical for this decade and extending more of yourself out there (good luck!) - I need and feel I'm beginning to work on the mental, and am in the process of adopting a new mindset.
