I could understand why someone would vote Trump in 2016. Hillary Clinton was just sleazy and gross establishment puppet, and Trump presented himself as a brick through the window of the establishment, someone who wouldn't give a shit about pleasing the political elite and wouldn't be held back by tradition. He promised change in a way weirdly similar to Obama's. People who were sick and tired of the regular back-and-forth American politics could see past his bumbling and have faith that he would shake things up.

In 2020, I believe you'd have to be a complete moron to vote for Trump. He wasn't so much an establishment disrupter, as he was an idiotic manbaby who ruled through tantrums, wasted every opportunity for good with his pettiness, and blew away all of America's international goodwill and any remaining moral standing it had. I can't fathom how any American could look at the last four years and say, "That was great, I'll take another!"

But apparently half of Americans do just that.
