Yes. i have experienced this. i’ve been trying not to be annoying as a communicate this to the people i love and trust in my life. this issue is weighing down so heavily, and it it effecting my mental health. i feel like i must share what’s going on in the lesbian community so that my loved ones understand why i am so upset at times. explaining the issues in our community is hard because it literally is unbelievable. it takes time to relay the gravity. i’ve started showing my friends and family the posts that trans people and TRAs make, and i show them photos of males on dating apps. they are starting to understand.

I told my therapist and I didn’t feel she believed me, about the drama in the community etc, and how you either toe the line or you are kicked right out.

Then all the stuff with jk Rowling started and that became news all over the place, and the Harper’s letter against cancel culture, and how reddit banned all of the subs and true lesbians, including detrans for a minute there, and I think she gets it now. People don’t realize that this has been happening to lesbians for years and is only recently becoming mainstream.

It’s really hard to be isolated with it and knowing that people who haven’t seen it happening probably think you’re crazy, because it sounds nuts! Glad you are making some progress letting them know.

Yep! People have been acting like I'm a conspiracy theorist if I dare to bring up that lesbians are being kicked out of LGBT spaces if we dont want to sleep with women / dont believe that men with AGP are 100% biologically female.

Especially with TRAs being so good at cancelling people who speak out for being "bigots" and "TERFs" so people hear that someone's a bigot and dont bother to look into their actual opinion. Then they cover it up by saying "We never said anyone has to sleep with anyone they dont like! It's a strawman by the evil TERFs"

And then they go right on back to trying to pressure lesbians into sucking girldick and silencing the ones who speak out so that the rest of the lesbians who don't want girl dick keep quiet since they feel alone and like they're wrong. If you're a baby lesbian just starting to explore, basically all of the lesbian spaces are filled with bi women, "queer women", hand maidens, and trans people to the point where it's not even a lesbian space anymore. So baby lesbians are surrounded by the girldick narrative and people telling her she's wrong and has "a genital preference" and "internalized transmisogyny" because she is a LESBIAN and doesn't want to suck a dick.

It’s pretty brutal to be attacked from all sides. I feel the most pity for young lesbians who don’t even get the welcome into the community that I got. Lots of us gay kids were kicked out of our homes or beaten by family etc when we came out, but the community was there for us. Where do the young lesbians turn now? It’s so sad

Yeah, and a lot of the fundie parents would rather their kid was straight than gay so they are supportive of it.
