So, her biggest ‘mistake’ was following people on Twitter that others might not agree with?

I follow quite a lot of people I don’t agree or do agree with. For some people it might be difficult to see the difference between who I agree of disagree with.

Anyway, it is just bullshit.

She liked some anti-semitic tweets and donated some artwork to a Qanon youtuber too, so it does sound like she probably agreed with the people she was following. I can understand making personal decisions about not supporting businesses or artists, especially if they use their fame and money for terrible politics and abuse (I'm thinking like Chik Fil A and Chris Brown). But a freelance artist who is probably just eking out a modest living designing MTG cards that have nothing to do with spreading her right wing beliefs? Come on. I'm about to eat some potato chips - do I need to track down the graphic designer of the bag to make sure their opinions pass my own personal "good person" metrics?

To be fair I don't think she's been eking out a modest living for a while, IIRC she's one of the few artists that gets paid to attend GPs and other cons. Her kickstarter for a token/playmat set also did insanely well. Something like $300,000 raised against a $20,000 goal.

Oh good, I still don't agree with going after her job on principle, but I'm glad she's not relying on those WotC commissions.
