3rd wave feminism / intersectionality really is the root of all of this insanity. The concept of discussing how different forms of oppression stack is decent but it quickly devolved into seeing "points of oppression" as "oppression points". The first is discussing different ways a person is disadvantaged, the second is looking for ways to rack up a high score. On top of that, they see a high score as morally virtuous instead of a state of being. The higher your score the more virtue you have. All the invented identities are a way for normal or advantaged people to compete on the score. You get these types of people who stack up (trans & black & woman & lesbian & sex worker & poor & autistic) and they see it as a 7 hit combo in street fighter.

I heard a friend who said that "LGBT" should put the T in the front (so it should be TLGB) because of how much trans women "did to the community." I barely managed not to slip up anything. I was just quiet pretending I was busy in a game.
