Nate. Elliot. Kai. What is it about these names, seriously??? Trans-identified females seem to have all converged on the same small set of popular male names. Why? Everyone jokes about it, even trans people.

As a kid, I actually used a bunch of FTM-popular names when I played video games: I always picked male characters whenever possible, and enjoyed having the girl characters in the games hit on me (lol). My "gender dysphoria" (internalized homophobia for me) developed without any influence from the trans community, so I have no idea why I would've picked those same names... Is there something about "Elliot" or "Kai" that is like catnip to young girls/women with internalized sexism/homophobia?

What a vague statement. Matter in what way, to who? No, I don't trust your judgment. This is something that people who want to trans kids do not understand: Just because your heart's in the right place doesn't mean that you're doing the right thing. (Some extremists do not have their "heart in the right place" anyway, but I'm speaking of the majority here.)

Trying to control other people's five-sense perceptions-- which they, in fact, do not even themselves control-- is incredibly controlling and the hallmark of a manipulative cult. (I mean, who sits there and thinks, "Ok, now I'm going to perceive this cup as green, and this table as brown"? Nobody. It's involuntary.)

I’m a bit younger than her and I already grew out of my trans phase. I get it when younger people are like this, but it’s hard for me to conceptualize an adult doing stuff like this.
