This is awesome work, RC. Thank you very much for taking the time to write this up. I think one thing that would open people's eyes is clarifying exactly what trans people mean when they use the term "trans healthcare". I think a lot of the general public hears trans people crying about not being able to access healthcare, and they (the public) think it's just meanie doctors who won't see trans people merely because they're trans, or meanie insurance companies who won't enroll them for the same reason. In actuality, of course, trans people are referring to hormones and surgeries. But they knew that wouldn't garner as much sympathy with the general public, so they cloaked it under the nonspecific word "healthcare". The more people who are made aware of what's meant by healthcare in this context, the better.

Yes, absolutely! I'll add that to list of euphemisms-- it's not exactly a euphemism, maybe, but I think it sure functions like one. Cutting off one's dick is considered "healthcare"... what. I guess it's more of an outright lie, lol, but it's a similar idea. Great point.
