WHAT DOES A TODDLER BEING GENDER NON-CONFORMING HAVE TO DO WITH BEING HOMOSEXUAL?!?!

Leave gay people alone 😒

A 2 year old isn't even old enough to have permanent memories.

21 Groomers or trolls voted yes so far. Wish I was surprised.

No, but parents should definitely take heed to how their children react to what clothes, shoes, etc are chosen for them. I've always been gnc. I'm pouting or crying in my childhood photos when I'm dressed girly... and smiling when I'm dressed boyish (in simply a basic white tank top and cool shorts). And I hated ponytails and ribbons in my hair. Parents should not force their children to be gender conforming (feminine for girls, masculine for boys). Some toddlers (who are intellectually capable, like I was 😏) are old enough to make those choices. Fortunately, I was born in 1983 instead of 2013... I likely would've been considered trans ~7 years ago.

Certainly not. I’m glad that AGB are sane when it comes to this. And to drive home the point why small children cannot make permanent decisions like that, I was:

  • 2 when I began having permanent memories.
  • 5 when I began having permanent memories that weren’t hazy.
  • 6 when I understood the concept of days, dates and time.
  • 7 when I learned that other people needed to be accounted for, and began my slow progress into learning empathy.
  • 7 when I understood the name of my town.
  • 8 when I understood driving distance.
  • 10 when I learned that there are no plateaus in life, that life does not always get better, that people who you get along with lose patience with you, that my family cannot afford to go on holiday every year, what it’s like to be embarrassed and that you need to be self aware.
  • 14 when I starts developing sexual feelings, which confused the hell out of me until I was 17.
  • 17 when I learned I was gay.
  • 21 when I learned that the world is very complex and not what it always seems. I also learned that failure is a part of life, and you have to give up some of your dreams.
  • 22 when I learned that the left is insane.
  • 25 when I learned that the right is also insane. Now I know that all sides of the political spectrum have bad people and good people. I am also not a centrist, because a lot of centrists have the worst traits of both the left and the right.

I am 27, and I am still growing. 21 is the minimum age limit in which someone should be allowed to transition. And even then it is still too young.
